DIY sharpie mugs

So after a long time being inactive at the blog spot world I decide not to be lazy and share with you the most interesting projects I tried this winter.

Today I will share with you my Christmas gift to my friends. I had in mind something that would be unisex and practical to everyday life. Yeah OK it wasn't the most difficult decision he he!! Mugs people,mugs!! I love hand made mugs! However what I wanted was something more festive and colourful so after some pinterest research I ended up with those beautiful festive super easy personalised mugs!

Doodles

I recently came across a post at Alisa Burke blog that was all about doodles. I don't know if that happens to you as well but when I find something interesting I then use to search it on pinterest and on instagram in order to get more ideas and get inspired.

A whole doodle word opened in front of my eyes! You have to try those anti stress drawings!

But what is exactly a doodle? As per the wikipedia explanation:

"A doodle is an unfocused or unconscious drawing made while a person's attention is otherwise occupied. Doodles are simple drawings that can have concrete representational meaning or may just be abstract shapes."

And if you still have doubts try to remember the drawings that you used to do when still a student and you were most probably daydreaming during class or the drawings that you did while on those long telephone conversations.

You see? You ve been doodling around even without noticing!

So I doodled for a while on my sketchbook but I usually try to find a way to incorporate art in my daily routine. So what could be more practical than creating a case for my tablet! Like it?

Africa,Ghana 2013

Its been almost a year that I've been back from what i call "a life changing trip". In my mind seems like a decade.Like the mind wants to blur the pictures that had see. 

The opportunity came a few months ago via an email of actionaid (a non profit organisation) The volunteer trip to africa was for me a challenge that i couldnt miss. 

Africa is the place where people dont own almost nothing but they give everyday lessons of happyness abundance of love dancing and tons of other feelings that the rest of the people worldwide keep burried in the routine of our lives.

Unfortunately we cannot even imagine how those people live. How they survive. Its far beyond what we might have seen on tv or a friend has told us. 

However, whats left in my mind are not pictures of people struggling to live but happy faces, clear eyes, soft chocolate skins and lot of mood to spread the whole situation to the rest of the world. Even if we dont realise we can help (or not) those people even with our daily habits.

Oreo pops

I cannot think of anything more delicious than Oreo cookies.The only thing better than an Oreo cookie is a chocolate covered Oreo. The only thing better than a chocolate covered Oreo is a chocolate covered Oreo with sprinkles. The only thing better than a chocolate covered Oreo with sprinkles is a chocolate covered Oreo with sprinkles on a stick. You probably got the idea by now...

Ever wonder how to make Oreo pops? They are pretty easy and the result has the kind of OMG taste :)))

                                                     
                                                    

                                      

This last one is just to make you feel better if you break some Oreos. After all those ''accidents'' are the best excuse in order to taste some Oreos while in progress ;))
