Mixed media afternoon

The last few days Dr. K and I are trying to redecorate the living room. Since we are spending a lot of time at our purple sofa I like changing the back round -ie. the white wall behind it- every now and then. What we decided this time is to dedicate our spare time in order to make some mixed media art pieces and fill up our wall.So today we started with the first two.Since Dr. K is not familiar with mixed media techniques he was really anxious to create and really proud of the result!
At least we kept our creative afternoon far from the television and the disappointing-economic crisis news..

 This last photo really makes me happy! And even though Dr.K insisted not to post it I think that this happiness of the person that creates something for the first time is really worth mentioning!
